In Brenham, exit Blinn College, FM 389 and take a left. Go about 15 miles to the stop sign at FM 1457. Turn right and go about 3 miles and turn right on Neumann Road. Neumann Road becomes Wagner Road. The Outpost is less than 1/2 mile on the left. Turn into the entrance with the "Outpost" boulder. Back roads from Houston : Come out I-10, then travel west and exit at Sealy. Turn left onto Hwy 36 and go about 1/2 mile; turn left on FM 1094 and go all the way to New Ulm. This is a pretty drive. At New Ulm, Turn right on Hwy 159 and go to the light at Industry. Turn left and go a few miles to FM 1457 - turn right and go about 13 miles, past FM 389. About 3 miles past FM 389 turn right onto Neumann Road. Neumann becomes Wagner Road. Stay straight. The inn is less than 1/2 mile down the road. From Bryan : Take Hwy 6 to Navasota. Exit Hwy 105, south towards Brenham. At the stop light in Brenham at FM 577, turn left and go to Hwy 290 West towards Austin. Get on Hwy 290 and exit Blinn College - FM 389 . Turn left and go about 15 miles to the stop sign at FM 1457. Turn right and go about 3 miles to Neumann Road. Turn right and stay on Neumann, as it becomes Wagner Road. Less than 1/2 mile on the left is the "Outpost" boulder entrance. From Austin : Take Hwy 290 East toward Houston. After passing the town of Giddings , then, Ledbetter, look for the sign "Deer Haven Road", then the next one is " Round Top Road". Exit and go all the way to a stop sign, about 9 miles, and you are at FM 237 in the town of Round Top. Take a left on Hwy 237 and go 2 blocks to the flashing yellow light on the town square. Turn right , go to the next street, FM 1457, turn left and go about 5 1/2 miles , and turn left on Neumann Road. Neumann Road becomes Wagner Road. Stay straight and turn left at the entrance with the "Outpost " boulder, less than 1/2 mile on the left. From Austin/Bergstrom Airport: Upon exiting the airport, turn right onto Hwy 71, East, heading towards La Grange, TX. Stay on 71, all the way to La Grange and exit Hwy 159. (You will not go into the town.) Turn left and continue on 159, which becomes FM 237, which takes you into Round Top. This is about 10 or 15 miles. At the flashing yellow light on the Round Top square, turn right, then left onto FM 1457. Take this for 5.6 miles to Neumann Road. Turn left on Neumann, which becomes Wagner Road. Stay straight for less than a half mile, and you will see a long , cedar post fence, and an entrance boulder "Outpost". Travel time is about 1 1/2 hours. From Dallas/Ft. Worth : Take I-35 South to Waco. In Waco, exit Hwy. 77 South towards Giddings. At the stop light in Giddings, take a left on Hwy. 290 East towards Houston. After the town of Ledbetter, look for the "Deer Haven" road sign. The next sign is "Round Top Road", turn right and go about 9 miles until you come to a stop sign at Hwy. 237. You are in Round Top. Take a left on 237, go 2 blocks to the flashing yellow light on the town square, turn right , go to the end of the block and turn left onto Hwy. 1457. Go about 5 1/2 miles to Neumann Road, and turn left. Neumann Road becomes Wagner Road. Stay straight and turn in the entrance with the "Outpost" boulder, which is less than 1/2 mile on the left. From San Antonio: Take Interstate Hwy. 10 East. At Flatonia, exit Hwy. 609. Turn left on 609 to La Grange. At the stop sign in La Grange, turn right and follow the road through town, past the railroad tracks and turn left to pick up Hwy.159 towards Round Top. The Hwy 159 becomes Hwy 237 into Round Top. At the flashing yellow light on the town square, turn right. The next left is FM 1457. Take it, due East for 5 1/2 miles to Neumann Road. Turn left on Neumann and stay on the road, which changes its name to Wagner, for about 1/2 mile. The "Outpost" boulder entrance is on the left.
